Most Saturdays and Tuesdays Coach Matt leads a group ride that you are welcome to join at no cost. The Saturday ride is generally a fast recreational 50 mile/3 hour ride. The Tuesday workout covers some type of climbing workout that will benefit your fitness.
As of Fall 2015, Matt is leading a regular ride on Tuesday morning's at 9:30, starting from the Orinda Safeway parking lot. This two-hour ride focuses on developing leg-strength specific to cycling and is called SFR's (Slow Frequency Repetitions). This ride is open to the public; please check my Facebook page by Monday evening each week to get confirmation that the ride is happening the next day.
